I'm told I am beautiful...and a very traditional Thai style of lady. I have long black hair, tan skin and a good figure. I'm the oldest child in my family. My parents are still alive, and live in the Mahasarakham Province just to the Northeast of Korat. They like the idea of me having a Caucasian husband, and say they are excited to see me have a child who is half Thai, half white.
I live in Nakhon Ratchasima, which is called "Korat." Korat is a major city at the cross-roads of several highways in the Northeast part of Thailand. It's the real Thailand... not a tourist town. There are over 300,000 people in Korat, and maybe 1,000 foreigners. Though it is a large city, it has the feel of a small town where everybody is family. Korat has a beautiful big Mall called "The Mall" with lots of stores and good food to eat. The Mall also has a water park with an Olympic size swimming pool, water slides, wet-toys and areas for swimming under palm trees and sweet Magnolias. It's a very nice place to go cool off and watch the little children laugh and have fun while they swim.
II want to continue my studies towards my PhD if at all possible. Currently, I work as a teacher at a school in Korat, and live by myself. I love teaching and I think that I was born to be a teacher. I'm happy and do enjoy teaching very much and I am so proud of my students when they are successful in their lives. This motivates me gives me so much happiness. My students tell me that I'm a lovely teacher who is kind, soft spoken and teach very well. I do have a happy life here and my family, Friends and students here are important to me as well as I'm important to them
I live a very simple life with good Friends, good Thai food and lots of smiles. I like to practise Dhamma ( a Buddhist meditation) which I feel is good for my body, mind and soul. It also gives me a positive outlook on life; keeps me tuned into reality,... better able to understand others.
I'm always optimistic no matter what the situation. I'm happy and not a jealous type. I take care not to hurt other's feelings, or take advantage of them for personal gain. I like to be helpful and take care of others... and get pleasure from seeing them be happy.
I'm open minded, frankly honest, any not shy. I try to always listen to others and accept their ideas and opinions.
I'm very patient, and not complaining or nagging. I can adjust myself to any new situation and enjoy the challenge of combining Thai and Western cultural ideals.
I'm cheerful and sometimes very lively, but I can also have quiet times of deep thinking. I want my husband to be a man who truly cares about me and is always honest with me about how he feels and what he is thinking. I am a good listener for when he needs a Friend to listen, and I have no problem talking and sharing my deepest feelings with my husband.
I neither smoke nor drink but I am social. I don't mind if my husband drinks, as long as it is for thirst and not to escape into drunkenness. I also enjoy dancing... but be careful as I may step on your toes. ;)
I like shopping, and taking long walks. I like to travel into the Kao Yai mountains (just South of here) or go camping and see the wildlife, and some of Thailand's beautiful jungle trees and refreshing waterfalls. I also enjoy going to the beach.
I'm affectionate and like holding hands, getting warm hugs and being close to my man. I would take a nap on his lap at the beach, and just listen to sounds of the waves... or watch the stars together on a crystal clear night. I guess I'm a romantic at heart.
I don't like dangerous activities, such as rock climbing or sky diving... but can watch if you like those.
I love eating our wonderful Thai foods, but I must admit that I do not cook very often, as there is always so much food available around me here. Besides, it's better than what I could make anyway. I am learning to cook better. Maybe we could practice together... or just go out for a nice romantic dinner.
I like getting exercise too... especially Aerobic, cycling, jogging, playing Badminton and doing yoga. I like to keep healthy so I can take care of my beloved husband and have a long happy life together.
